📢 Service Notice | Japan Region IP Replacement Schedule

Dear Users,
Due to adjustments in upstream network resources and routing structure, we will be performing an IP address replacement for certain instances in the Japan region in order to ensure long-term service stability and improved network performance.
We have also observed intermittent connectivity issues affecting some services in Japan, and this adjustment will help improve overall network quality.

📍 Scope of this maintenance
Japan Region: TYO-B / TYO-C

🖥 Which instances will be affected?
If your instance IP falls within the following range:
46.3.0.0/16 (Japan Region)
→ Your instance will receive a new IP address.

🕒 Maintenance Window
2026/01/05 — 00:00 to 06:30 (UTC+8)
Operations will be carried out in batches during the window.

🔄 Impact
During the replacement process, you may experience:
Short service interruptions or reconnections
Automatic instance reboot
A new IP address assigned after completion

👉 After maintenance, please update:
DNS records
Security group / firewall whitelists
IP addresses bound to third-party platforms
Service data and system configurations will not be affected.

🔧 Special Notes
1️⃣ Default automatic update
Instances will automatically reboot after the IP change
IP will be updated via Cloud-Init by default
If you prefer zero-reboot (no downtime) IP replacement:
→ Please submit a support ticket in advance.
We will enable “zero-reboot mode,” and you will manually configure the new IP address.
⚠️ If Cloud-Init has been disabled, or if the system image was manually cloned (dd),
please configure the new network information manually.

2️⃣ If you wish to temporarily keep the current IP
Please contact us via support ticket.
However, please note that some old IPs may become unstable or unreachable.
We strongly recommend completing the migration as soon as possible.
